Today is a New Day

Today is a new day; you have been through so many changes, some- you are not even aware of. Today is a new day, the sun is beating its light upon you and you feel the energy that it has. Whether in darkness or in light, today is still a new day and you get to choose what you do with it. Today is a new day, you can sit in sorrow or you can sit in the excitement of knowing that you can make today the day of your choice by the actions that you take. Learn to love yourself no matter what, learn to show that love to others, learn to not let the little things get you down or even the big things for they are just that- circumstances that can affect your mood- but why- Why let them have that power. You know who you are- you are a child of God and he always knows what is best. We are protected in his power. We shine with his light. And with his light we feel Good, We feel empowered, we are special. Now go out and conquer the day with all the gusto that you can muster. So as he says, I am the Light, I am the Power and I am the Good. Today is a new day- make it special!
